Just wanted to share a quick video with you, hope it works. I was in my bathroom (yes, my own bathroom. ahh!) getting ready for the day, while the kids were bouncing on the bed. If you watch the video, you'll see Reese introduce herself as Batgirl, Beckett as Batman, and that would, of course, make Jasper, Batbaby. Captain Hook (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) was trying to steal Batbaby, so Batgirl called the fairies (from Barbie's Fairytopia) to create the color dome and save the day.
It got pretty intense for a moment, but everyone's still here, so I assume all turned out okay.
Wade's working today (more on that later) so the kids and I are on our own again. We didn't go to church this morning. It's not fun bouncing from church to church trying to find something that fits all of what we are looking for. We've gone to 3 so far and it's hard not to compare them to Naz. I keep having to remind myself that just because it's different, doesn't mean it can't have potential.
And on an unrelated note, Reese got her first experience with fire ants yesterday! We'd been warned about them several times and yesterday morning we found out first hand what everyone was talking about. She was playing hide and see, standing next to a tree and counting, when she came running towards me SCREAMING. She was standing on an ant hill and didn't even know it. They wait to bite you until there's like 20 of them on you. Even though she ran across the yard, her feet were still covered with crawling little red ants. Poor thing. They left small, itchy red bumps, but she seems to be fine today! And we continue to learn this Florida lifestyle...
